>>I drank a coupld of Fosters in honor of our Austrailian friends, missing due to continetal drift.<<

Thanks Ian (...he said through gritted teeth while all the time cursing the continental drift...)

At least you didn't drink those AMERICAN beers! What was it Monty Python said in 'Live At The Hollywood Bowl'?...

"Frankly, we find drinking your American beer a little bit like making love in a canoe...it's fucking close to water".

(of course, I would never say that, though )

(laughing hysterically) Haven't heard that one before, John! If this isn't a reminder to review the entire repertoire of Python routines, I don't know what is!

Geez...it sounds too good. I want to be there. Next year, I'm bringing my Arriflex 535, a full array of Zeiss lenses, an anamorphic converter, a Steadicam rig and a LARGE batch of Kodak VISION 500T...Larry McConkey will run second unit...

We'll get CFI to make release prints for all Film-Tech contributors with 70MM blowups available as an option...

OK, that'll do...

The owners of my cinema came back form Show West yesterday and have been telling us how great it was.

They brought back a couple of goodies bags with a cool Paramount keyring, an Elton John cd (ugh...THIS is the same guy that gave us Benny and the Jets, right?), some t-shirts incl. Blair Witch 2 (Be afraid...) and a MI2 mug.

No filmguard though...(Damn)

Just got back my photos of ShoWest (my fault for them taking so long, as I didn't turn them in for processing till late last week). Some great shots, including the Film-Tech Drink. I'll send some of the best along to Joe Redifer, as he has volunteered to post shots from ShoWest.

John secretly told me that he only uses Fuji film in his camera, as "that Kodak junk just sheds, has static problems, and the colors are not very good." Oh well, I guess the secret is out now. The public has a right to know!

Just kidding, of course.
