When I used up their store stock, they gladly called Zynolyte and re-ordered more for me. It was only $5.00 per can list price! It takes special ovens, and special applicating equiment to do either. Commmercial powder coating shops that will do one up items are common in the states. Many race type cars use parts that are powder coated too. I think it cost me under 50.00 to have the Vista machine powdered in black. The Hammertone paint from Durable Coatings although a commercial finish, and pretty nasty , can be applied at home but must be baked on to cure it. It takes months to air dry. I used to use a regular oven at 190 degrees for 30 min. Works great but just don't bake the chocolate chips at the same time! USA Registered: Sep 1999 posted 06-21-2000 11:29 AM                     I got great results with the Zynolyte Black Wrinkle spray paint. In order to have the wrinkle finish come out properly, the paint and the item being painted should be between 80 and 90 degrees (F). All I had to do was set the projector outside on a nice hot sunny day (letting the sun bake it on) and in 4 hours it was ready to handle. There's a trick to making the wrinkle finish: first spray the paint in horizontal strokes, wait 3 minutes, spray again with vertical strokes, wait another 3 minutes, then finally spray in diagonal strokes with the spray paint. There are also a few professional paint shops around that will do wrinkle but it is very expensive! Sherwin Williams also stocks wrinkle in cans in most store locations.
