I don't consider Flintstones a summer film-it's coming out next week, but I am looking forward to it, it could be fun. I'm picking Rocky and Bullwinkle to hit huge, as long as they kept the spirit of Jay Ward, this could be a classic. I am looking forward to Me, Myself, and Irene, but why does Renee Zellweger continue to get work-she's horrible in everything she's in. Battlefield Earth could do OK, but there's already a backlash against the Scientology connection that could hurt it. These films are all lame for the most part. Com'on, another Flintstones Movie??? Thats just plain stupid stuff. I do look foreword to watching Prof Clump eating with his family though. I bet it gets funnier, and even more disgusting this time around. I think Dinasaur will be huge, other than that, its a race for second place. 'X-Men' doesn't have the star power. 'Gladiator' is 150 minutes long and is too violent for the girls (note sexist generalization), 'Me Myself and Irene' will be too perverse (I heard it makes 'Something About Mary' look like 'The Polka Dot Door') and it won't appeal to the older audience, 'Titan AE' will get flattened by 'Dinasaur' as will 'PK2'. I just don't see any huge business bringers, which I guess we're all supposed to hope for, at least in theory. Maybe 'Big Mama's House' will be a sleeper. ------------------ "Asleep at the switch?
