Memo to self - order a "Let's all go to the lobby" trailer. I don't have this in 35mm...just a 16mm reduction print.

My "Snack Canyon" trailer was purchased brand-new last year from Cinema Concepts in Atlanta. Presumably they still sell it.

The Kodak trailers on the DTS trailer disk are likely the trailers for the Kodak ScreenCheck Experience, used by theatres that are ScreenCheck-certified. The one in current release "One Million Hours" is the one that says "It takes a million hours to make a film, and only two hours to show it". The others are "Men in White" and "Skiers".

The ScreenCheck website has quick-time videos of the trailers:

Brad! You must have had a premonition about Regal Cinemas using the Pepsi Girl!

Seriously, Landmark Cinemas uses the "Barbie Doll" policy snipe at their new Sunshine Cinema in NYC. "Barbie Doll" may be OK for a mainstream theater but not for an arthouse!

BTW, "Barbie Doll" is flat only and not available in scope AFAIK. Reading Cinemas in Manville NJ used "Barbie Doll" until some time last year.

We use the Barbie Doll trailer at Hollywood Hits, Danvers MA. We are 1/2 First Run Arthouse 1/2 sub-run....2 different sets of ticket prices. I've had my fair share of senior citizens from the art movies tell me that the Barbie trailer was hilarious! Surprise, Surprise.

Pepsi just introduced a new generic policy trailer. Reading Cinemas in Manville NJ has been using it since early April at least.

In addition to the usual -- no talking, cellphones off, yada yada yada -- it has this reminder for the audience: "Report projection problems to the management." That should warm the hearts of every Film-Techer!

Also, the scope version is letterboxed. [Roll Eyes] Guess the producers couldn't do a proper scope trailer.

Why is it that when I call our Pepsi Distributor that no one knows anything about these policy trailers???? Anyone have a phone number or contact name??? We are a very small theatre and can't afford those glitzy expensive generic policy trailers.
