I made reference to this thread in a current thread about digital projection. This post will cause this thread to go back into the top "window" of threads to make it easier to find.

Recently, in studying the convolution theorem in relation to the Fourier transform in my image processing class, I understand the alaising and ringing phenomena better than when I first made this posting.
