Kinoton does have super 16 gates.

Another not-so-great aspect of the Eiki EX-6000/6100/6120 lamphouse...why did they design it so cramped?

You have to feed the lamp in at just the right angle, or you damage the douser shutter or the lamp. When I change the lamp on one of those projectors, I have to cradle the lamp in a clean cloth to protect the lamp from getting bumped or scratched as it is guided into the reflector, and getting the cathode end into the mount is sometimes a challenge.

Are the 9000-series (2k) just as bad?
