"Splices are a huge problem for SRD since whole chanks,boom,creak sounds are heard through the theater's speakers."

What? I never hear any kind of noise during a splice. Perhaps just the micro-interruption of sound during SR-DD/DD-SR switch (my two V5 put also a "double world" if dialogue are between splices because analog sections of automatic's V5 is too far from the gate while digital can be adjusted).

Bump or similar can hear only whith SR analog sound and only when splices are not weel made.
