The debate over "who sounds best" always seems to ignite people and many are confused over how it should be done.

Sound comparisions of DTS and DD should be done ONLY against the *master*. The master mix is what the film maker has intended and is what both DTS and DD are emulating. Comparing two sound processes to each other is not the way to do it. Personally, it is hard for me to tell the difference when switching between the sources in the same room.
