Jeff, it is not 10 weight, as far as I know. I don't have the book in front of me, but it would be closer to 5 weight. Actually, the oil now being used is Mobil Velocite #6, which is what Chevron calls Hydraulic Oil AW ISO-10. It is the suggested replacement for AMOCO Spindle Oil A. The Chevron oil is also recommended as a high speed spindle lubricant, as well as Telemotor oil aboard ships.I would presume SAE number and the ISO number are completely different. Paul
