Daaaaa...Bah! SRD is picky, picky eqippment. Joe, your situation is not *entirely* hypothetical. I have encountered this problem on many an occasion, but not to the degree of which you speak. However based on the assumption that each of my Dolby units are calibrated equally, I would say that I would not see this problem. I do though know, that the error rate is a fix. It means that the processor is doing that much overtime to fix what it is missing. I would also say YES, there IS a difference, though to you and me...? No... I actually have a customer who claims he is gifted with God's golden ears. I think he is full of donkey doo doo. ANYWAY... Yes, there is a difference, but it is so incoherent that our inferior brains cannot detect such. So says the Book of Moo. Good day.
