Author Topic: First hardlocks and now ads Jesse Skeen Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1517 From: Sacramento, CA Registered: Aug 2000 posted 02-24-2002 01:35 PM                     Warner started a ban on ads before their films shortly after Di$ney, but they recently lifed that ban I remember a press statement saying "People don't just dislike onscreen advertising, they hate it!" Which of course makes sense, though shortly after reading that I heard it was really because they wanted a cut of the ad revenue. Oh well... ACK! The commercialism is so blatant it makes me sick. If I were a parent I would be ashamed to expose my kid to that influence.
