My records show that 5383 (introduced in 1974) was "SP", but earlier films like 5381 and 5385 may not have had product ID codes. When 5384 was introduced in 1982, it was "LLP", and later became "LPP". In those days, the edgeprint ID was exposed during slitting. The slitters were used for a variety of products, and a stencil change (to change the ID) required considerable down time to change and verify. So the edgeprints were more "generic" than is done with more modern technology today.  |  IP: Logged
