My question is - how many career projectionists out there are taking the computer courses that will be needed to service and run the digital projection systems that will bombarding us in the next five years? With DTS, it either works or it doesn't. Troubleshooting could be a different story. That is where factory training enters the picture. Although I could be wrong, I don't think computer courses are really needed to operate the equipment, unless the program has to be written or debugged. If I am wrong in my assessment, please correct me. The manufacturers provide the software, you load it in just like any other program. Loading the DPL program, I would presume (but I have to admit I do not know what is involved) it could be done by anyone who is computer savvy.  |  IP: Logged Daryl C. W.
