You may know all there is to know about your processors, amps, readers and such but without the proper equipment you are up creek without a paddle. How often does your tech come to your theatre? How often do you have a projector down? Do you know what he is doing when he is there? Try and explain to your GM that if you are not well trained than you can not be held 100% accountable for the problems in your booth. The more you know then the better your booth will be. If he doesn't listen when you tell him this then he does not care about presentation.
