Peter Dougherty Film Handler Posts: 36 From: Maspeth, NY, USA Registered: Nov 2000 posted 07-23-2002 05:42 PM                        I really liked my ORC platter that I had in one theatre I worked at (and later, after it closed, I ran it at another house). I think it was the Model 302 (a 35/70 platter the one with the brown column). It wasn't that hideous orange abomination-on-toast, nor the newer style with the microswitches on the take-up side. I think that was the only good platter that ORC ever foisted upon the industry. What can I say?
