On the Westrex there should be a toggle switch down below on the power supply panel. Shutting down the dubber will also stop the projector through the show controller. The dubber we installed at Thanksgiving point is a Westrex and it runs great. Proper maintainance is the best cure to not having any problems. Also, belt replacement, at least every 6 months is in order, especially if you run mag alot. Any servo system can become Three Mile Island if you loose one side of the supply rails, or if a belt breaks and the servo system tries to make up for the lack of things not turning. The extreme smoothness of there transport has always kept them a popular unit for recording on and especially recording striped release prints  |  IP: Logged
