I think, what he was trying to say is that there where 18 loudspeakers, placed overheard in the ceiling 6+6+6=18 to get a uniform excellence of sound from above with no hole in the bucket.

I’ve tried this with the DVD release of “We Where Soldiers” dame its cool sounding works well on every thing else with split-surrounds too…
