Effective date is still today (1/7/03). Here is the letter: As of January 7, 2003, ETS Direct will be responsible for the physical distribution of all Sony Pictures Releasing titles. As most of you know, our operations consist of a network of 34 depots throughout the U.S., all in major markets to better service exhibition as well as our studio customers. An important factor to this is the utilization of local film carriers who have keys to all major market theatres. Unlike other ETS clients, ETS will have a dedicated Customer Service Department in Los Angeles to answer all your booking related questions for Sony Pictures Releasing only. You are not to call the Sony Division offices for this information. Instead, contact the following Customer Service Reps at 1-800-734-3969 during regular business hours. - EAST - Scott Heller ext. 1022 - MIDWEST - David Messinger ext. 1029 - SOUTH - Carla Persell ext. 1038 - WEST - Megan McGroarty ext. 1044 All reel replacement calls for Sony Pictures Releasing should be directed to the ETS home office number above. we have a fully staffed 24/7 team to help you wiht any reel problems you might have. For film deliveries, please continue to contact your local film carrier as you would for other ETS Studio clients.
