Actually, Daryl's comment is very accurate... Oh, by the way - I had some computer technician tell me once that a Microsoft Bus Mouse can be plugged into a PS-2 mouse hole, and vice versa and it would work. When I questioned that tech's birth rights and a few other things, my German and Norwegian temper did get me in hot water to the point where I was asked to leave the establishment. (In short, I was almost thrown out of his shop.) (I might add that the establishment who had that tech went out of business).... However, I still think Michael should re-install his old drives to verify the unit is still working so he has a "benchmark". Then he can start over or send the unit back to DTS for repair and upgrade.  |  IP: Logged Michael Rourke Expert Film Handler Posts: 159 From: San Luis Obispo, Central Coast of CA Registered: Feb 2002 posted 01-12-2003 03:01 PM                     Thanks for all your help guys it was the SCSI cable, I had the cable plugged into pin 1 on the drives, but pin one on the SCSI card was the opposite that of the drives. I couldn't tell from the black and white picture on the instructions where the red wire on the cable was going to the board, and there was a number 1 on the right hand side of the board next to the pins, so I mistakenly put the SCSI cable in backwards. It didn't take me this long to fix the problem, I fixed it and went on vacation and decided to let everyone know what the problem was because I know you were all on the edge of your seats.
