It seems that almost every studio has got their own variation of the color. Pick a standard PMS color and stick to it. We've got bright greens, yellowish greens, deep greens. And if its not too much to ask, could all the green bands please be printed in razor sharp type and in focus. No fuzzy type or just slightly out of focus green bands please. I didn't notice the extra-long black leader on WB titles until I saw Space Cowboys at the UA Union Square in NYC. Usually I figure 2-3 seconds between the end of the policy and the start of the feature. "Odyssey/Blade Runner" ends and the screen stays black for what seems like forever. I thought, Oh no, the DTS went out! Then I see the WB shield come up. OTOH some theaters leave all that extra-long black with the attached trailer. The AMC Hamilton did that on one of its prints of Harry Potter 2. Because of that I heard a "false start" for the feature. It didn't help that the attached trailer (Kangaroo Jack) ran first instead of last.  |  IP: Logged
