Can't a Canadian citizen work for two different companies or be on the staff of one as well as being an independent consultant? I can see the company restricting you, but not the tax department of the government.  |  IP: Logged Gordon McLeod Film God Posts: 9532 From: Toronto Ontario Canada Registered: Jun 99 posted 10-15-2003 08:19 PM                     It is rather simple If you declare a full time employment then you have one T4 slip to submit to the Revenue Canada at tax time Since there are source deductions that must be made (including payroll taxes of the employer based on each employees gross earnings from all sources it gets very complex Bottom line if you want an audit submit to T4's If you are a parttimer with no permanent fulltime employment then submit as meany as you want  |  IP: Logged Jon Bartow Master Film Handler Posts: 287 From: Massachusetts Registered: Nov 1999 posted 10-19-2003 02:27 PM                     I signed up and actually did two different projects for Dolby (Thanks Paul! it was fun!)
