For those that don't know...Clayton was the western US service technician for Westrex for many years. He's also my boss. No 7000's were ultimately ever sold here as far as he knows. On the other hand I did a service call today on a pair of 5000's that are in Wendover, Utah....located not very far from the Enola Gay hanger. They are still chugging away pretty well, but both are in need of new intermittent drive gears which fortunately we had new in stock. So new gears and keys will be fitted to them on the next call out there. They should last a lot more years to come.
