As Brad says, automation in a projection room run in a PROFESSIONAL manner can be a great help when things get busy. But it certainly requires the ability to thread/lace in frame, and to be sure there won't be a problem when the show starts itself. "PROFESSIONAL" also means the projectionist will check several times during each show to be sure there are no problems with focus, framing, sound, light miscues, etc.
