I just saw your post... I try to keep up on this site, but really, can anybody (John Pytlak excluded) keep up? I have known many interesting projectionists over the years. I started doing my own documentary, but I couldn't find a projectionist willing to run my dailies... Feel free to contact me if you run shot of colorful characters. I just got back from LA where I had a whirlwind time meeting projectionists, visiting with the the Digital Cinema Laboratory, touring the Egyptian Theater and conducting research at the Academy Library. It was great. I'm going to be returning out there in January to do some shooting and I'm always looking for more suggestions for characters. I met a few while I was there that will be in the film, but I can really never meet enough. So, if you have suggestions, please pass them along. They are brainwashed into concession sales and don't care what happens.
