It requires an Autowind film cleaner bracket as well as Kelmar's footage counter bracket to create. You then drill and tap holes in the footage counter bracket to mount the autowind bracket and whola...a film cleaner bracket at the right lean-back for the Kelmar table....done it many times...works for media and PTR type cleaners. Unfortunately, I had to make mine out of plywood. Gravity will cause the FilmGuard to work it's way to the inboard side of the pads and depending on the situation can cause one side to be more lubricated than the other. Neumade's bracket keeps the pads horizontal and that 10% of twist between reels doesn't hurt anything.  |  IP: Logged Jack Theakston Master Film Handler Posts: 411 From: New York, USA Registered: Sep 2007 posted 09-03-2008 02:42 PM                     Most people don't have access to it, but if you do, an ultrasonic cleaner with Perc is still the best way to get the print like new, in my opinion. If you're just going to do one pass, you're good to go.  |  IP: Logged Randy Stankey Film God Posts: 6539 From: Erie, Pennsylvania Registered: Jun 99 posted 09-04-2008 02:16 PM                     Here are the pictures of the film cleaner bracket I made: All I did was make a base for the standard bracket that the Kelmar cleaner uses to mount onto a platter tree. A couple of lag screws hold the metal bracket to the wood base. I glued a piece of rubber to the bottom face so it wouldn't mar the table surface. It ain't much but it does the job.
