Thanks for the correction - yes cat 85 of course. I use a SG-1 too, which is probably why I got the number wrong. The pink noise difference is about 1.7 dB (a theoretical difference - could be more or less in practice). This is why DTS moved to using tone for line ups rather than pink noise. Although having said all that Dolby have changed their level very slightly with the release of the CP650 and Digital mastering unit, so the difference is only about 0.5dB now. Not enough to worry about. As you were!
