Lauderdale, FL, USA Registered: Jun 2001 posted 05-09-2004 10:19 PM                     There is also the RCA 9001 soundhead if you want belt and drive gear  |  IP: Logged Luciano Brigite Master Film Handler Posts: 277 From: Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil Registered: Jan 2002 posted 05-10-2004 07:24 PM                     Is there any picture of such soundhead available? that's a model I never heard about and speaking of RCA soundheads, today I opened the gearbox of mine awww crap. both gears and the pinion are shot..pinion teeth are no more than 1mm thick ,one of the gears was replaced by a seel one and it's all scratched,thickness of teeth in the center is about half of it when compared to the borders and base.and the lower gear,made of brass is nearly teethless D'oh. I realy sank my feet in the poop bucket with this machine now I'd like some advice on it because I don't want to spend a lot of $$ with it.. ummmmmm..... could someone lend me a mallet?  |  IP: Logged Richard Fowler Film God Posts: 2392 From: Ft. The unit has one drive shaft with sprocket and projector drive gear run from a motor belt. The exciter was basically a 6 volt automobile type of light.
