I have recently had the pleasure of watching one of the new Technicolor dye transfer prints and was mightily impressed by the vibrancy of the image. These prints use the old technique of printing on B&W stock with a silver image for the soundtrack. Will there be any move to dye transfer prints with cyan tracks or will they stick with the tried and true? It was really only capable of doing small runs anyway....albiet at much higher printing speeds than were originally used. I suggest that you enjoy what few prints that were made as you probably will never see any more unless the likes of Bob Harris or Steven Squeelberg can coherece them into making them again.
