It never caused a thump.I read somewhere on here that you increase the life of the LEDs by switching them off. Just became a habit, close the dowser, change the sound to N/Sync and switch off the LED.  |  IP: Logged Peter Hall Master Film Handler Posts: 314 From: London, UK Registered: Dec 2000 posted 09-25-2004 03:47 AM                        Paul The thump that you talk about is common when you switch the LED with the changeover shutter. Control it with the motor and this is eliminated.
