Well, I like Bose. I certainly don't claim to be an audiophile, and I don't have much to compare them to, but I have Bose Accoustimass computer speakers. Two Accoustimass cubes accompanied by a bass module that sits on the floor under my desk. All I can say is oh, my God! As far as computer speakers go, they kick some serious ass. In fact, I don't even have a stereo system. I listen to my CD's on my computer. Anywho, these speakers have got to be about eight years old. This model was discontinued several years ago. Its successor, the Companion® 3 multimedia speaker system, kicks even more ass. I have seen them on display at the Bose stores. (No, the Mall of America is certainly not the only location; I personally know of several Bose stores in Florida alone, plus one in Vegas. There are more.) Yes, their current products are certainly impressive.
Yeah, there probablly are speakers that sound better out there, but to me, the size of Bose speakers has always been amazing.
