Sounds like an opportunity for someone to design a big Norelco to 70.6mm adaptor incorporating an adjustment system. Maybe something really elegant where the adjustments are very simple X & Y Allen screws accessible with the lens clamped in place and the adaptor on the projector and no fooling around with eccentrics.
