I believe some projectors are better suited to certain booth situations (degree of operator proficenty). I know all projectionists should be well trained and versed, but in reality we often end up with ushers, managers, ect up operating and maintaining booth equipment. We notice in our company that Century and Simplex XL projectors seem to stand up to the heavy handed abuse that sometimes gets inflicted on them by less experienced operators.
