Sounds strange that you get so much dust in the aperture. In my Vic 5 I get almost no dust at all with the velvet. I have a lot less trouble with the velvet than without it. I used to run two of those some years ago. I used velvet on the tension bands, with no trouble at all. The wide ones for 70mm, too. If you have problems with steadiness, and it´s not the print, there might be other reasons. Worn intermittent sprocket or even the geneva movement. Another thing is, the axis for the intermittent is very long, and if you use too much force when tightening the screw, there´s a risk the axis get slightly bent. Thomas  |  IP: Logged
