I didn't mention that they were B&W prints which made it even more obvious. And of course (as you mentioned) they were running carbons

I have used Cinemeccanica V-8 with Christie SLC, Xetron, ORC and V-5 on Strong Highlite, Kneisley Xenex II in addition to Cinemeccanica. The obvious one in color ( blue )was the Christie.
