Monte

The perfs in MP disappear around 6 to 8 feet back depending on your eye sight. The holes in the weave material disappear around a foot or two. In my case because Im working with such a small room I felt the Weave would be the better choice but MP would be an alternative to anyone doing a smaller theater.

When you say MDI the first thing that came to mind was that whole sale MCI catalog they send around. Who is MDI ?

Thanks!!

Again, if you have a low gain (matte) screen, it should be installed FLAT. If the screen has gain, it should be installed CURVED, with the curve and tilt optimized by ray-tracing (angle of incidence = angle of reflection) to aim the light at the center of the seating area.
