I'm sure I've seen "pirated" films....just as good as the real dvd. Maybe I just don't know where to look down here in Kentucky. Or maybe I'm buying pirated copies at the store and they are so good, I just can't tell that they are illegal. (I'm guessing after promo screenings at theaters, and they got the reels back.) After built up, one of our prints had a few black scratches through the first few reels, and then clean... and then a later reel was just full of dirt. The first reel from all three prints had a light vertical black scratch directly in the center. The problem was noticeable enough that we ended up ordering three replacement Reel 1s.
