I saw some of these machines years ago in Palm Desert, Ca. Now the gate is at the exact same distance as the other machine. The shoe is not quite 2 film thicknesses away but it's better than it was. The picture now has no movement which I can see. Let's see if this holds up. Projector one has always been solid as a rock...................................................................... Just an update. It's been about a week and projector 2 is running fine. No shake at all. The only thing that is bothering me is that projector one's gate is running with the shoe well up against the intermittent sprocket. There is no shedding or shake so I am not going to adjust it.
