On my 40 + year old Simplexes I change them twice a year not onces! On my Century's I clean all the grease off and put new on twice a year. The fact you oil the oil areas daily on the Century's means the oil is changed a lot by the nature of running not even sure how you would remove the oil from the three places you oil it!
