Just get some plastic tubing at the local plastcs outlet thats the same I.D. as the O.D. of barrell behind the lock ring. Cut a piece long enough to keep the lock ring in the locked positiopn and then cut a section out large enough to allow one to slip it on over that area of the barrell and wolla... a lock that locks the existing lock.
