The last recent film I remember that that was done on was with Cloverfield where in the scope trailers the film was edited to fill the scope image space. Like for House Bunny, I remember seeing the letterbox black, changed to pink and then the name/date of movie put throughout the black section. It simply looked terrible. I think I saw one other movie ad on TV do the same kind of thing. Since then, I've not seen any similar.  |  IP: Logged
