How do you splice the remaining reels on while its spinning with out the print brainwrapping. Interesting idea. I think you'll find that the 166 running time is correct to the end of the credits. None of the reels are packed though most are reasonably full. Reel 5 is probably the shortest. FWIW...Scope, quad-track (in the USA, at least). Watch your framing...it feels like somebody scribed the wrong lines on the camera when they composed this one...you feel like you are often framed too high. The overall look of this film is just weird (color, composition, you name it). There is also a mixture of anamorphic and spherical photography...sometimes inter-cut in a common scene...I don't know if I've seen that before (other than some 70mm/35mm stuff in Far and Away). Although the change to 12/25 from 12/26 seems to be noted only in the Television commercials. BoxOfficeMojo still shows the 26th, but the latest ScoreBoard (Dated 12/12) does show the 25th. But I'm right there with Michael McG. We're scheduled to open "Benjamin Button", "Gran Torino", "The Reader", "Valkyrie", "Frost/Nixon", "Marley & Me", "Spirit" and "Bedtime Stories" all on Christmas Day...  |  IP: Logged Jonathan M. Also, were as my print was a screening one...things could be different...though it was not an EK by any stretch. 166 feels about right though (to the end of the credits). The machines I was running are dead on at 24fps too (strobe verified). Build up and break down time were nearly instantaneous Ah 2-projectors...my friend! Steve  |  IP: Logged
