Author Topic: Do you feel cheated when you get a used print for a new release? Janusz Antkiewicz Film Handler Posts: 40 From: Wroclaw, Dolny Slask, Poland Registered: Jan 2009 posted 02-08-2009 03:36 PM                     Wouldn't like to make an off-topic but some time ago this idea ocurred to me and keeps bugging me ever since. Don't you feel that being a projectionist is some sort of a curse?? What I mean is that since I started caring about this job I realized that watching movies in MY cinema doesn't bring me joy anymore. I'm always on a lookout for scratches; counting rolls; checking if subtitles are OK; I even make it sure that when the roll changes the splicing is so fine that the change is barely visible. And I always find something to be dissatisfied with. Finding cues is just part of the fun that I have every week! You havent lived until you run a few series of free family films.
