The original tungsten bulb and the resistor generate a lot of heat, and with 2000 ft. (600m) reels, the rewind power is too weak. Generations of school teachers have damaged films when it stopped over the lamp cover - to be fair, when that machine was constructed in the late 1930s, most of the scientific and education films were no longer than 10 to 12 minutes which the rewind mechanism handles without problems. Sorry, I cannot tell you the pin outs because my machine is optical only and has a later date amp. A word of caution: If you ever change the lamp assembly (converting to quartz lamps is no problem) be careful with the core of the resistor because it contains asbestos.
