I use a 5 mt active usb cable and (if necessary) another 5 mt passive and I have no problem. Sure that if you have a very big auditorium it could be difficult. The PAA3 has the capability to measure the RT60 differently from PAA2.

Ever considered wireless USB? Just need an outlet in the theatre at that point.
