Robert obviously needs to start renting out SPL meters and D2 RTAs at his concession stand so that people can calibrate their car radios properly. He can play pink noise instead of intermission music to facilitate this.

My settings are always at 7. Thanks to my Broadcast Warehouse "DSPXtra" processors, all audio enters my transmitters and is received by each and every car in my fields at a uniform "7dB".

However, considering that someone thought putting volume controls on car radios was a good idea, maybe I need to run an announcement before each show.

"Welcome to the drive-in. Before we start, everyone please set their volume controls to '7'. Thank you. Don't forget to buy a cheeseburger at the snack bar!"

I thought that I heard some pink noise coming from one of the cars. ..So I didn't come a-knocking.

Only on Film-Tech could a topic about decibel-level notices in film cans be turned into a sex joke. [beer]
