Yes, Xetron lamphouses can take a HTP type threaded bulb. For people not used to dealing with Xetron lamphouses, there is a removable adapter that fits the XYZ assembly which allows you to change bulb types easily. (By contrast for example, a Christie bulb socket is part of the XYZ assembly, thus requiring it to be taken apart and replaced.) The adapter has the required mount (pin or threads) and is made in the correct length to position the bulb on the Z axis in the correct 'F1' or focus position.
There are two different sizes of reflectors, 11in and 15in. Each requires a different sized adapter. Further, each can take two different sized bulbs.
One bad thing about the threaded Xetron adapters is no 'squeeze' collar to tighten on the bulb threads, like what Christie does. People who do not screw the bulb in tight risk arcing.
