Author Topic: DTS 6D - Cuing pulse Bill Duelly Film Handler Posts: 92 From: Roselle Park, NJ Registered: Feb 2006 posted 04-09-2012 06:41 AM                     Tony, basically, it is the change in dynamic range and the channel structure that is most apparent, not really level. For example, the dts snipe has the flying discs from rear to front, and starts out from a Dolby analog separation and then kicks over to the more distinct multi channel from the dts itself a few seconds in. The original setup and installation followed Sonys plans for integration. Well that wasn't the best way it turned out. The 'fallback/hierarchy' architecture added a few seconds to the format changes. This wasn't how a processor is supposed to work (literature for 6D even said the unit does not work with SDDS). Using the info for the 6D triggering structure, we made some connections for the SDDS automation plug. Viola! it works now.
