I did notice something weird about auditorium #2. There were only two speakers on the back wall, not the usual four or five, so to be honest, I wasn't sure if it was a 7.1 presentation. But I DEFINATLEY heard 7.1 at the Cobb Village 12. When "The Adventures of Tintin" played in auditorium #1, it was most certainly 7.1. Sounds were coming four directions at me. Also, "Wreck-It Ralph" in auditorium #8 had that rich sound directionality 7.1 can only provide. The difference was that the former used the back surrounds aggressively, while the latter was more conservative. So I can assure you 7.1 is in at least some auditoriums at the Village 12. I'm planning to get a job at the Village 12 someday. Kind of a bummer to hear no sight of 4K, but those 2K projectors are some of the best in the market.
