So if I'm interpreting this correctly, 70mm prints of "Murder" are masked to scope ratio via a digital intermediate (albeit 4K), and are not leadered correctly for reel-to-reel (changeover) presentations for future showings at repertory houses.

Yes?

If so, truly lame.

"Murder on the Orient Express" 70mm / 5 perf releases in 19 international cities and in only 4 domestic locations in NY & LA! Kenneth Branagh did an excellent job capturing a beautiful backdrop with vivid colors and depth Enjoy!!

FWIW I saw the 5/70mm print at Arclight Sherman Oaks in LA, and the print was gorgeous. Flawless presentation.

Are you sure? Sherman Oaks doesn't say anything about it being 70mm... [Frown]

Positive, but it came down today as they're putting the 5/70 print of Justice League in that auditorium.

WOW that's odd because I've been scouring the arclight's websites to find out what theaters it's in for the last week and Sherman Oaks was never mentioned on 70. So I'm off to Hollywood in 20 minutes! [Big Grin]
