It can mean anything the seller wants it to mean. Usually, if something was brought back, there was a reason for it. Back before my Sony set started flickering, I was in our local Circuit City and saw several "open stock" TVs just like it. I wondered why they'd been brought back. They were not hooked up. I guess that should have been a warning to me. So far, the Hitachi 57SWX20b set I got as a replacement for the Sony has been great (keeping my fingers crossed).  |  IP: Logged
